The
Marvelous
Village
Saint-Cyprien is located between the Dordogne valley and the Vézère valley, in the heart of the tourist attractions of the Black Perigord.
This medieval village invites you to discover its winding streets full of history as well as its monastery and its bell tower from the 12th century. Its name comes from a hermit called St. Cyprien who settled in the 7th century in a cave overlooking the Dordogne Valley. The caves of Fages overlook the present village and are accessible on foot by footpaths from the town.
Walk through small streets where the stone dwellings have been perfectly preserved and give the village an incredible charm. On Sundays, enjoy the incredible market located directly outside The James!
Surrounded by green hills, this village will charm you with its rich heritage, the quiet of nature, and the "gentle green" of its river Dordogne.
Its geographical position will provide you access to the most beautiful sites in the region: museums, world-famous caves, castles, gardens... and you will enjoy the warmth of etiquette Perigord.
